Health Tip – Stimulants are energy’s greatest enemy – avoid coffee, tea, sugar, cigarettes, etc.

Stimulants are energy’s greatest enemy. Even though stimulants can create energy in the short-term, they are major energy consumers long-term. The “high” that you feel is literally energy leaving your system, like a wave that breaks and for a few seconds, is full of energy. A few seconds later there is no wave at all – all the energy has gone. So the first step to beating fatigue and low energy levels (apart from exercise) is to cut out, or cut down on stimulants. This includes alcohol, cola drinks, cigarettes, coffee, tea, chocolate (milk), sugar and refined foods.
