Even though stimulants can create energy in the short-term, they are major energy consumers long-term. The “high” that you feel is literally energy leaving your system, like a wave that breaks and for a few seconds, is full of energy. A few seconds later there is no wave at all – all the energy has gone. So the first step to beating fatigue and low energy levels (apart from exercise) is to cut out, or cut down on stimulants.
